Volunteer: After School Homework Help

Volunteer Job Description: After School Tutoring volunteers will engage with students at after school tutoring. Every day different volunteers and students will join our session, and so volunteers will work with a variety of students throughout the semester, and some days you may be prepared to be dismissed early or to work with a group of students depending on need. Often students will just need help with their homework, and they or a classmate should be familiar with how to log on to their student account and access assignments. If a student does ot have homework ,we have a range of other activities they can engage in, including chess, English learning games, art projects, and electrical circuit activities.  After School Volunteers are also encouraged to participate in our social and recreational activities throughout the year!

 

Time Requirements/Frequency/Duration: weekly consistent commitment is preferred, but our sign up sheet helps us to be flexible with volunteer needs and variable schedules. Spread your stoke for biking with our communities kids!  We are looking for volunteers of all riding abilities to join us with kids ages 2-16 on the trails this spring.  It is an amazing experience to see all these young bikers in one place each day, and to help contribute to their life long love of biking.

Practices are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:45-6:45.
